Building a Consistent Wellness Routine

A practical method for taking something daily and actually knowing whether it did anything.

The Problem Worth Solving

Most people take a supplement keenly for ten days, patchily for three weeks, and find the bottle at the back of a cupboard months later. Nothing was learned and the money is gone.

The method below takes about ten minutes to set up and fixes both halves of that.

Step One: Write a Baseline First

Before the first capsule, write down two or three specific and checkable things. Vague goals give vague answers.

Bad: "better digestion". Good: "how many days this week I felt comfortable after dinner".

Bad: "less hungry". Good: "how full I feel two hours after lunch, out of ten".

Step Two: Decide What Counts as Working

Write it down before you start. After eight weeks you will be strongly motivated to move the line, and everyone is.

Step Three: Change One Thing at a Time

Diet affects appetite and digestion more than any capsule does. If your eating changes at the same time, the result tells you nothing about the supplement.

Step Four: Remove the Friction

SodaTide has a built-in advantage here. The label says to refrigerate it, so put it in the fridge door beside the milk or whatever you reach for first every morning. The storage requirement becomes the reminder.

Aim for most days rather than a perfect streak. Missing one Tuesday is irrelevant; deciding the streak is broken and stopping is what costs you.

Step Five: Push Through the Adjustment Fortnight

This step is specific to fibre and it is where most people quit. Added fibre commonly causes wind and bloating for the first week or two while your gut adapts.

Knowing that is coming makes it far easier to walk through. Drink the full glass of water the label specifies, and give it fourteen days before drawing any conclusion.

Step Six: Review on a Date

Put a date in your calendar six to eight weeks out. Read your note and compare properly, rather than judging on how you happen to feel that morning.

Two things to write down on day one

The date your parcel arrives, and the refund deadline once you have confirmed it with the seller. We could not verify the guarantee period for this product, so get that number from the official store and diary it yourself. Most people who lose a refund lose it to their own calendar.
