SodaTide Ingredients

SodaTide is advertised around four ingredients. The Supplement Facts panel supplied with the product lists three different ones. Here is both, side by side.

The Two SodaTide Ingredient Lists

This is the most important thing on our site, so we put it first rather than at the bottom.

IngredientAdvertised formulaSupplied Supplement Facts panel
GlucomannanListedNot listed
Green Tea ExtractListedNot listed
Ginger RootListedNot listed
Chromium PicolinateListedNot listed
Chicory Root InulinNot listed211 mg
Potato Resistant StarchNot listed100 mg
Probiotic BlendNot listed36 mg

Not one name appears on both lists

That is unusual, and you should know it before you spend anything. The advertised formula is a fibre-plus-botanical-plus-mineral blend. The supplied label describes a prebiotic and probiotic gut formula.

Both are legitimate approaches to appetite and digestive support — they simply work differently. Formulas and packaging genuinely do get revised, and marketing pages often lag behind by months, which is the most likely explanation.

Before ordering: ask the seller which formula version ships today, and read the Supplement Facts panel on the bottle when it arrives. If a specific ingredient is your reason for buying, that thirty-second question can save you the purchase.

What the supplied SodaTide label actually declares

  • Chicory Root Inulin (Cichorium intybus, root) — 211 mg. A soluble prebiotic fibre.
  • Potato Resistant Starch (tuber) — 100 mg. A starch that behaves like fibre and is fermented in the colon.
  • Probiotic Blend — 36 mg, listing Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila.
  • Other ingredients: hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica.
  • 347 mg total per capsule, one capsule daily, 30 capsules per bottle. Refrigerate for optimal quality.

Understanding the SodaTide Ingredient List

How to Read the SodaTide Formula Sensibly

Three practical points, none of which needs any technical background.

Check the panel, not the page. The Supplement Facts panel on the bottle is the legal statement of what you are buying. A sales page is marketing, and the two can drift apart.

Fibre is measured in grams. Adults are generally advised to aim for 25 to 35 g of fibre daily. Both formulas here deliver a fraction of a gram, so neither replaces fibre from food.

Ingredient research is not product research. Studies on glucomannan tell you about glucomannan at the amounts those studies used. They do not tell you what a finished capsule containing something else will do.

Safety Notes Across Both SodaTide Formulas

  • Glucomannan — always take with plenty of water; it has been linked to choking risk when taken with too little fluid.
  • Green tea extract — liver-injury reports exist for concentrated extracts; take with food and stop if you notice jaundice or dark urine.
  • Chromium — speak to your doctor if you manage blood sugar or take diabetes medication.
  • Live probiotics — anyone who is immunocompromised should seek medical advice before taking them.
  • Added fibre of any kind — expect wind and bloating for a week or two while your gut adjusts.
  • Not for anyone under 18, or pregnant or nursing.
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
