How to Use This SodaTide Guide
Every page here opens with the same banner, because the same thing is true of all four: these ingredients appear in SodaTide marketing but not on the Supplement Facts panel supplied with the product.
That panel lists chicory root inulin (211 mg), potato resistant starch (100 mg) and a 36 mg probiotic blend. No ingredient appears on both lists. The main ingredients page sets both out in one table.
We have still written these pages in full, because the advertised formula is what most people will have read about, and because each of these four ingredients has genuine research and genuine cautions worth knowing.
The safety points worth carrying away
- Glucomannan — always take with plenty of water. Taken with too little fluid it has been linked to choking and oesophageal obstruction.
- Green tea extract — concentrated extracts carry liver-injury reports. Take with food and stop if you notice jaundice or dark urine.
- Ginger — mild blood-thinning activity; mention it if you take warfarin or have surgery scheduled.
- Chromium — discuss with your doctor if you manage blood sugar or take diabetes medication.
- Not for anyone under 18, or pregnant or nursing.
Ingredient Research Versus SodaTide Research
These pages describe research on the individual ingredients, at the doses those studies used. The finished SodaTide capsule has not been through its own published clinical trial.
Fibre research in particular works in gram-level amounts, while a capsule delivers a fraction of a gram. See how SodaTide works for that comparison in full.
